Pennies From Heaven
December 24, 2006 on 2:24 am | In Life In General | No CommentsTonight I did some last minute Christmas shopping with the kids at Target. Shortly after we walked into the store, my son picked up a penny on the ground and said “Today is my lucky day”. After browsing around the store a bit, my daughter found a penny as well in a not so obvious location. Once she picked hers up I couldn’t help but think of my Grandpa. He used to collect pennies and my Dad often mentions how my Grandpa leaves pennies around for him. I guess tonight was his way of wishing the kids a Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas to all of you here and in Heaven…
Now That is a Fight I Would Pay To See!
December 13, 2006 on 12:44 am | In Angels | No CommentsThis past week David Eckstein did some promotion for his book at a wrestling event. He got into a brawl with the notorious A.J. Pierzynski. Angels fans hate AJ and love Eck. It is definitely a great matchup from that standpoint. Check out a pic from the event below:

Happy Birthday Dad!

Dad,
Thanks for everything you’ve done for me and continue to do for me. I am proud to call you Dad. I love you!

December 8th – Rock N’ Roll History
December 7, 2006 on 11:38 pm | In Life In General | No CommentsOn December 8th, 1943, James Douglas Morrison was born.
January of 2007 will mark the 40th anniversary of the release of the Doors self titled debut album.
This date also marks a sad date in rock n’ roll history. December 8th, 1980 is when John Lennon was shot and killed.
Both are gone but their music lives on.
